1-2-1 support for parents and children

Our 1-2-1 sessions give you a safe space to talk, explore challenges, and find simple, effective strategies. Guided by the Brain Body Balance framework, we take a holistic approach, with a special focus on ADHD and Autism families.

Having experienced the challenges of neurodivergent parenting firsthand, we understand how hard it can be to find the right support. That’s why we’re here to help you and your family with guidance, understanding, and practical solutions.

Parent support sessions

Our 1-2-1 parent support sessions are a private and judgement-free space where we can:

Talk through what you’re seeing with your child

Explore how you’re feeling

Work out simple ways forward to support your family

If you are willing, we can also use some very simple nervous system techniques in the session, like conscious breathing, tapping, etc. to help you feel regulated and that you can take away to use for yourself and your child.

We are confident you’ll leave feeling more heard, regulated and empowered to communicate and create more connection with your child/teen.

Our 1-2-1 parent support sessions are 1 hour per session and are priced at £60 each or £150 for a block of 3

Not sure if this is the right next step?

If you’re unsure if this would be a good fit for your family, you can book a 30-minute, no-obligation chat with me, Shelley, during which I can answer any questions you have.

You can then decide for yourself what you want to do next, without any pressure from me.

Children support sessions

We offer tailored sessions with your child or teen (with or without you there).

These sessions are 45 minutes, in-person or online, to give them the space to explore how they are feeling and get to know and understand their own body sensations, and brain and nervous system. I always focus on both their strengths and struggles, in a very age-appropriate way.

Our 1-2-1 sessions with children are 45 minutes per session and are priced at £50 each or £125 for a block of 3

1-2-1 Framework

In all our sessions we use our Brain Body Balance framework to help develop an understanding, of self and others.

This means we focus on the brain and body, and how they work together to protect us from things that feel ‘unsafe’, through the defence states of fight, flight and freeze. We see this behaviour communicating that feeling of ‘threat’.

To bring regulation, we look at supporting the body and brain to feel more ‘safe’ through self-understanding, simple body practices and emotion literacy.

All the work we do is neuro-affirming – acknowledging and supporting the difficulties, whilst also celebrating the strengths of each individual.
